Bangladesh Nationalist Party - BNP Signs the July National Charter

In the presence of Professor Muhammad Younus, Chief Adviser of the Interim Government and Head of the National Consensus Commission, representatives of various political parties signed the July National Charter today, Friday, 17 October 2025, at the South Plaza of the National Parliament.

On behalf of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BNP National Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed attended the signing ceremony.

Following the signing, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said in his immediate reaction,

“The July National Charter marks the beginning of a new chapter in the political history of Bangladesh.”

Meanwhile, BNP National Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed remarked,

“As long as the history of Bangladesh exists, the July National Charter will be remembered as a historic milestone in the nation’s  journey.”
