The Russian Embassy in Dhaka has also sent a message praying for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

Sunday afternoon, 30 November 2025, an official from the Russian Embassy delivered a bouquet of flowers and a goodwill letter to the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan.
Her Private Secretary A.B.M. Abdus Sattar received them on her behalf.

The goodwill letter signed by Alexander D. Khazin, the Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh, reads:

“Madam, from the depth of our hearts, we wish you a speedy recovery. We pray for your good health. May the Almighty grant you long life and strength—so that you may overcome every hardship.”
