A significant meeting was held under the chairmanship of BNP Chairman and Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman to enhance the effectiveness of parliamentary activities. The Prime Minister addressed the Members of Parliament present at the meeting with directive remarks.
The meeting took place today, Saturday, 28 March 2026, at 4:00 PM in the ruling party meeting room at the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, with the participation of ruling party MPs.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Members of Parliament joined a special prayer seeking forgiveness for the departed soul of Dilara Hafiz, wife of the Speaker of the National Parliament, Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Bir Bikrom, expressing deep sorrow and condolences on her passing.
The meeting also included discussions on the government’s ongoing activities, the current political situation, legislative functions, and future plans.
