BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman participated as an invited guest in a plenary session of the World Economic Forum (WEF) currently being held in Dalian, China.

The plenary session, titled “Innovating at Scale,” commenced today, Wednesday (24 June 2026), at 9:00 AM local time at the Dalian International Conference Center in Liaoning Province.

The session was opened by the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the World Economic Forum, who delivered the inaugural remarks.

In addition to Bangladesh, the session was attended by Chinese Premier Li Qiang, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Mongolian Prime Minister Uchral Nyam-Osor, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, and Guinean Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah.

On the sidelines of the session, the Honorable Prime Minister exchanged views with heads of government from various countries on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing issues of mutual interest.

During a break in the session, world leaders also participated in an official photo session.
