BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Haji Md. Nurul Islam, father of Md. Ruhul Amin Nasir, former Joint Convener of BNP's New York Metropolitan (South) unit. Haji Md. Nurul Islam passed away due to old age while undergoing treatment at Barishal Islami Hospital. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un. He was 75 years old at the time of his death.  

In a condolence message today, BNP Secretary General stated, "I deeply share the grief of the bereaved family of Haji Md. Nurul Islam. As a religious, honest, and benevolent person, he was highly respected in his community. I pray that the Almighty grants him in Jannah and gives his family the strength to endure this loss." 

The BNP Secretary General prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and extended his deepest sympathy to the grieving family members, relatives, admirers, and well-wishers.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound grief over the passing of A.K.M. Tarique Kalam, Vice President of Sylhet District BNP. He passed away yesterday while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un. He was 67 years old at the time of his demise.  

In a condolence message today, the BNP Secretary General said, "I deeply mourn the passing of A.K.M. Tarique Kalam and extend my heartfelt condolences to his family. As a religious, honest, and honorable individual, he was widely respected in his community. He was a firm believer in the ideology of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam, and the principles of Bangladeshi nationalism. Under the leadership of Begum Khaleda Zia, he actively participated in democratic movements and struggles. I pray to the Almighty to grant him in Jannah and to give his family the strength to bear this loss."  

The BNP Secretary General also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members, relatives, admirers, and well-wishers.  

Additionally, Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qaiyum Chowdhury and General Secretary Advocate Emran Ahmed Chowdhury issued separate condolence messages. They expressed their deep sorrow over the passing of A.K.M. Tarique Kalam, recognizing him as a dedicated leader of Sylhet District BNP. They emphasized that his loss is an irreplaceable one for the BNP in Sylhet. As a devout and benevolent person, he was well-regarded in his community. They prayed for his eternal peace and expressed their condolences to his grieving family, admirers, and well-wishers.
