Proposal Adopted at the BNP National Standing Committee Meeting
On Monday, July 21, 2025, at 8:30 PM, a meeting of the National Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was held at the Gulshan office of the Honorable Chairperson.
The meeting was presided over by the party’s Acting Chairman, Mr. Tarique Rahman.
The following members of the National Standing Committee were present at the meeting:

After detailed discussions on the agenda, the following decision were adopted:
The National Standing Committee of BNP expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident that occurred at 1:00 PM today in Uttara, Dhaka, where a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed inside the premises of Milestone School and College, resulting in the death of 20 individuals, including students and the pilot, and leaving over 171 people seriously injured. The injured are currently being treated at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. A formal condolence proposal was adopted regarding this tragic event.
The meeting also prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls of the deceased students and pilot, wished a swift recovery for the injured, and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families.
