On the Occasion of the Historic 7 November – National Revolution and Solidarity Day

Ten-day Programme Announced from 5 November 2025 to 13 November 2025
Today, Sunday, 02 November 2025 at 12:00 PM, a joint meeting was held at the BNP Central Office in Naya Paltan, presided over by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, to mark the observance of the Historic 7 November—National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
The meeting was attended by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General, Joint Secretaries General, Conveners and Member-Secretaries of Dhaka North and Dhaka South City BNP, as well as Presidents/Conveners and General Secretaries/Member-Secretaries of BNP’s central affiliated and associate organizations.
At the beginning of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the early recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The meeting unanimously adopted the following decisions:
1. Flag Hoisting:
On 7 November at 6:00 AM, the party flag will be hoisted at the BNP Central Office in Naya Paltan and at all BNP offices nationwide.
2. Tribute at Mazar:
At 10:00 AM on 7 November, senior leaders and activists at all levels will offer floral tributes and recite Fateha at the mausoleum of the Proclaimer of Independence and former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam.
3. Central Rally:
Dhaka North and South City BNP will organize a rally in front of the BNP Central Office at Naya Paltan on Friday, 7 November 2025 at 3:00 PM.
Similar rallies will be held by BNP units across all districts and upazilas on the same day.
4. Programmes by Front and Affiliated Organisations:
Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal: 5 November – Discussion meeting
Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal: 8 November – Discussion meeting

Jatiyatabadi Ulama Dal: 9 November – Distribution of educational materials to orphans
Jatiyatabadi Tanti Dal: 10 November – Discussion meeting
Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal: 11 November – Discussion meeting
JASAS: 13 November – Cultural event at Shaheed Minar (evening)
5. National Discussion Programme:
A central discussion will be held on Wednesday, 12 November 2025 at the China-Bangladesh Friendship Conference Centre.
6. Media Publication:
From 6 to 13 November, documentaries (video and images) will be published through electronic and print media as well as on Facebook, YouTube, and online platforms.
7. Poster & Souvenir Publication:
Posters and commemorative publications will be released marking the observance of National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
