Protest marches will be held across the country, including Dhaka, on Saturday initiative of BNP.
Press Release
A protest procession will be held tomorrow, Saturday, 13 December 2025, across Dhaka and throughout the country at the initiative of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
This program has been announced in protest against two heinous and alarming incidents:
Today’s shooting attack on Sharif Osman Hadi, the independent candidate for Dhaka-8 in the 13th National Parliamentary Election and spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho; and The 5 November 2025 shooting of Ershad Ullah, BNP’s nominated candidate for Chattogram-8 and Member-Secretary of Chattogram Metropolitan BNP, who came under fire by violent assailants while conducting election outreach.
These brutal attacks are part of a pattern of orchestrated violence aimed at disrupting the democratic process. The BNP demands a full and impartial investigation and exemplary punishment of all those involved in these criminal acts.
To make the nationwide protest march a success, all leaders and activists of BNP and its associate and affiliate bodies—along with the general public—are earnestly requested to participate.
