BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir’s Condolence Message
Hasina Momtaz, the elder sister of Dhaka-18 Member of Parliament and Joint Convener of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP S M Jahangir Hossain, passed away today at 4:00 am while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un). She was 68 years old at the time of her passing. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Hasina Momtaz.
In a condolence message issued today, the BNP Secretary General said:
“Late Hasina Momtaz was highly respected among the people of her locality as a charitable and religious woman. Like her local community members, family members, and relatives, I am also deeply saddened and grief-stricken by her passing. I pray to Almighty Allah to grant late Hasina Momtaz eternal peace in Jannah.”
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended deep condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, and well-wishers.
