Condolence Message from BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir
Shamsul Huda, Founding Vice President of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP, Founding President of Greater Sabujbagh Thana BNP, and former Commissioner of Ward No. 29, passed away yesterday afternoon. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return). BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound sorrow and grief at his passing.
In a condolence message issued today, the BNP Secretary General stated:
“Late Shamsul Huda, who firmly believed in the principles and ideals of former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam, and the philosophy of Bangladeshi Nationalism, played a significant role in strengthening and energizing Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP.
Furthermore, under the leadership of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister, the late Begum Khaleda Zia, he demonstrated remarkable courage in every movement and struggle aimed at securing the democratic rights of the people. His contributions and dedication will continue to inspire BNP leaders and activists at the local level.
As a public representative, he was also a popular leader who made valuable contributions to the development of his locality. I am deeply saddened and distressed by his passing. I pray to Almighty Allah to grant Late Shamsul Huda a place in Jannah and to give his bereaved family the strength and patience to endure this profound loss.”
In his message, the BNP Secretary General prayed for the eternal peace and forgiveness of the departed soul and extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, admirers, and well-wishers.
Note: The funeral prayer (Janaza) of the deceased will be held today after Asr prayers at the field of Manda Haidar Ali High School under Mugda Police Station.
