Condolence Message from BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir
BNP National Executive Committee Member and former three-time elected Mayor of Ishwardi Municipality in Pabna District, Mokhlesur Rahman Babul, passed away at his residence yesterday at 1:50 p.m.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound shock and sorrow at his death.
In a condolence message issued today, the BNP Secretary General said, “The late Mokhlesur Rahman Babul, who held deep faith in the principles and ideals of former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam, and in the philosophy of Bangladeshi nationalism, played a strong role in strengthening and energising the Pabna District BNP. Moreover, under the leadership of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister, the late Begum Khaleda Zia, the courage he demonstrated in every movement and struggle for the democratic rights of the people will always inspire local BNP leaders and activists.
As a public representative, he was also a popular leader for his contribution to the development of the area. I am deeply saddened and distressed by his death. I pray to Almighty Allah to grant the late Mokhlesur Rahman Babul a place in Jannah and to bestow patience upon his bereaved family members during this time of profound grief.”
In his message, the BNP Secretary General prayed for the forgiveness and salvation of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, admirers, and well-wishers.
