Following his arrival in Malaysia on his first official state visit, BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman participated in an exchange meeting with members of the Bangladeshi expatriate community.
The meeting was held today, Sunday, 21 June 2026, at 10:45 PM local time at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, where the Prime Minister addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest. His spouse, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, was also present on the occasion.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:45 PM on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight and arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 8:35 PM local time.
